A tip for Small Business Owners: If it's clickable, it's measurable

By Reena Jana, Head of Product and Business Inclusion Strategy, Google | Business Inclusion

In honor of National Small Business Week 2019, we’re featuring a series of video tips for small business owners from Google’s Digital Coaches.

The Coaches host workshops on building an online business, based on their own experiences as small business owners in cities around the U.S. Many of the Coaches’ workshops are taught as part of the Grow with Google program, which offers free training and tools to help people grow their skills, career, or business.

In our sixth tip video of the week, Katrina Turnbow, the Google Digital Coach for Detroit, suggests how you can find out what your customers are truly interested in, how you can leverage that knowledge to adjust your business model, marketing campaign, and other elements of your start-up or other entrepreneurial venture. It's as simple as paying attention to customers' behaviors on your website.

Katrina, who owns and runs the Detroit-based digital marketing firm Kanopi Social and hosts the weekly podcast #TechTalkTuesdays, helps small and mid-size business grow using online marketing strategies she's leveraged herself. Here, watch Katrina share her tip:
